Shall the City of Santa Barbara adopt an ordinance mandating that the Santa Barbara Police give marijuana laws the lowest law enforcement priority possible?

The initiative in simple terms:

1) It makes marijuana offenses, where cannabis is intended for adult personal use, the lowest police priority.

2) It frees up police resources to focus on violent and serious crime, instead of arresting and jailing nonviolent cannabis users.

to pass legislation enabling the City to
tax and regulate adult access to cannabis.
